On Sunday, August 7, 2011, the congregation of Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) rejoiced as Rev. Brent Lauder preached his first sermon as its new pastor. After receiving a call to serve as our Teaching Elder he moved to Cape Coral from Hammond, Indiana, with his wife Jennifer and their four children: Job, Miriam, Ethan, and Lydia.
On Sunday, October 23, 2011, the pastor of North Fort Myers Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dann Cecil, preached at Pastor Lauder’s installation service in EPC’s sanctuary.
